A LITTLE ABOUT US
Nancy became our On-site Director in September of 2017. She has worked with Swallow's Nest since 2008 as our Medical Coordinator. Nancy has a heart for those without a family and carries on the tradition of superb care for which Swallow's Nest is known.
Pam and Clay Williams went to China in 2003 to teach English at the Henan Institute of Engineering. In 2004 their lives changed dramatically when they found a newborn baby girl at their gate. They provided the surgery she needed and gained permission from the local authorities to foster and eventually adopt her. Two years later they founded Swallow's Nest Children's Home and began accepting more children into their home. Since opening Swallow's Nest, over 100 children have been cared for and more than 90 children have found forever families through adoption.
In 2015 Pam and Clay returned to the US. They continue to support the operation of Swallow's Nest through close communication with the Chinese staff, fundraising and financial oversight. They also enjoy speaking to groups on adoption-related topics.
