Nancy has worked with Swallow's Nest since 2008. She began as our Medical Coordinator and transitioned to on-site Director in 2017. Nancy has a heart for children and families. Since the closing of the foster homes, she carries on the Swallow's Nest tradition by volunteering in her community assisting families with children with Down's Syndrome. We admire her for her continued dedication to at risk children in China.

Pam and Clay Williams went to China in 2003 to teach English at the Henan Institute of Engineering. In 2004 their lives changed dramatically when they found a newborn baby girl at their gate. They provided the surgery she needed and gained permission from the local authorities to foster and eventually adopt her. Two years later they founded Swallow's Nest Children's Home and began accepting more children into their home. While operating Swallow's Nest Children's Home, over 100 children were cared for and more than 90 children found forever families through adoption.

In 2015 Pam and Clay returned to the US. They continue to support the operation of Swallow's Nest through close communication with our overseas partners, fundraising and financial oversight. They also  enjoy speaking to groups on adoption-related topics.
